TEHRAN - The World Assembly for Proximity among Islamic Schools of Thought (WAPIST) congratulated the Leader, the noble Iranian nation, and freedom-lovers across the planet on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the miraculous victory of the Islamic Revolution. In a statement released on yesterday, WAPIST noted that "through divine intervention and years of struggle by the late Imam Khomeini (RA) and sacrifices of pious, martyrdom-seeking men and women the Islamic Revolution succeeded to eliminate the taghut (evil) regime and throw the imperialistic U.S. forces out of the country."
